About Us
Our Story
It must be time to introduce myself and The Diddy Van.
The Diddy Van came into existence by a series of chance encounters at a bit of a life crossroads.
The seed of an idea was planted by an old school friend who I hadn’t seen for about 30 years. I found him on Facebook and it only took two years for him to get back to me! At the end of our catch up, he said “Julia, you need to convert a van. Go to the beach, have a swim, then sell some coffee”.
DIDDY started as a very mini mini bus. After several owners she was bought by Jake and Molly at SHORELINE CAMPERS, Bosham. They envisioned converting her into an amazing micro-camper. That was until I came along.
Having lived near the Hampshire/West Sussex border most of my life, I love this area and all it has to offer. The Downs (the running), the coast (the swimming) and of course, an amazing community.
What better than to sell coffee and cakes here
The Diddy Van can be found at various locations and is available for hire.
Our Values
Here at The Diddy Van we are committed to being part of the community. Working from local pitches and catering for local events.
We provide delicious coffee roasted in Hampshire, and served with local milk from Northney Farm, Hayling Island (oat milk is also available).
Bakes are home made and sold directly to you from Diddy.
We use compostable cups and recycle wherever possible.
If you want amazing compost for your garden, collect some coffee grounds and take them home. Your garden will thank you.
Anything lost or found, or any queries you have, we will do our best to help with, through local knowledge and social media contacts.

Our values
The Diddy Van serves a delicious Dark Milano coffee, blended and roasted in Hampshire. To compliment this, we are proud to be able to support Northney Farm on Hayling Island by using the milk from their beautiful herd of Ayrshire cows. (Very fond memories of this farm which is run by an old school teacher of mine, and his family. I’m convinced Mr Pike literally saved my life one day at Junior school!)
The Diddy van is also serving various other hot and cold drinks. If you feel like a tasty nibble, there will be a selection of home baked treats and other locally sourced goodies.
Honest Coffee
To be honest, I’m not a coffee snob, but I love a good, honest coffee, particularly if it is served outdoors.
Deeply Committed
The Diddy Van will be serving a delicious Dark Milano coffee, blended and roasted in Hampshire.
